Merak – colorful shiny wood mosaic

The small rectangular and colorful pouch with its wood mosaic is a gem. It can be used as a purse or for small utensils such as makeup or sewing kit.

The bag is 10 cm x 8 cm x 2 cm in size and can be closed with a zipper.

The chic bag is easy to clean and can be cleaned with a simple wood polish, so that it still looks like new even after many years. The bag is also ideal as a bag in pocket for the larger wooden handbags, because an extraordinary set of bags made of wood ensures impetuosity. Depending on the incidence of light, the wood mosaic shines in different shades of the diferent colors. The purses are handmade in Brazil. The wood used comes from the indigenous tree “Pereiro (canudo armargoso)”, whose bark also lowers fever.

Apart from the light fabric of the interior lining, the tear-resistant nylon cord that is used to crochet the wood mosaic and, of course, the zipper, the bag is completely made by the handbag artists out of this wood, including the pearl border.
