Inside the handmade bag is covered with a light fabric and has two zippers for the two separate compartments to close.

The bag is about 27 cm x 17 cm x 3 cm in size and holds as a handle bag numerous makeup utensils, mobile phone. Purse or keys. Depending on the incidence of light, the wood mosaic of the bag shines in different shades of black. The bag is sturdy and easy to care for and not just as an evening bag, but for everyday use. The bag can be simply washed off with water or refreshed with any standard wood polish.

Background: The handbags are handmade in Brazil according to my designs and specifications. The wood used comes from the indigenous tree “Pereiro (canudo armargoso)”, whose bark also lowers fever. Except for the light fabric of the interior lining, the tear-resistant nylon cord with which the wood mosaic is crocheted together and of course the zippers, the bag is completely made by the handbag artists out of this wood, including handle and the pearl border.

My statement as a designer: The wooden handbag is itself a gem, an eye-catcher and certainly topic of conversation wherever you appear – because in this country, the bags made of wood are a rarity.
